My grandma worked in a rag factory when my mom was a little girl. They'd get all these old clothes and cut them into rags. Anyway, she found an old dress in the clothing pile. The real old kind with the bussle on the back. In the pocket of the dress was a small purple velvet box with two tiny white pins with pink roses on them. They were beautiful. I wore them at my wedding for my something old.

Wow what a neat story. I bet she was supposed to wear them and never put them on. But why carry the box? it's a mystery.

I know, I would have loved to have known the whole story. Probably wasn't anywhere near as interesting as the stories you create in your imagination though.

Not really, the box stops the contents from getting damaged?

There's something about antiquity that's so fascinating. I suppose because we can't replicate old age like we do everything else?

Don't you believe it, we do a pretty good job. Where there's money, there's a way.
