It is mainly used in red magic (that is, all love, passion, sex related rituals) The message written on the pendant is "One ring to show our love, One ring to bind us, One ring to seal our love And forever to entwine us."

Has anyone of you noticed that there was an Elvish Love Pendant in Lords of the rings?

...elvish, i thought that there was some mistake in the title!
...well it seems that elvish means from elves!
..i also thought that the ring from the lord of the rings was just something made from the imagination of the author of the book!
...the writtings are quite similar to the ones on the ring from the movie!
...do you know what it meant, on the one from the movie, gieacai?

Well I'm sure it might be a part of the film because of the words written on it
It looks the same as on the ring

Have a look at it. I don't really understand what is written on the ring.
Is it greek?Lol ! What language is it?
I didn't watch the whole trilogy of Lords of the ring but I'm sure it might be a part!

It means "One ring to show our love, One ring to bind us One ring to seal our love and forever to entwine us"

Elvish is the language of the elves ...

I know that elves don't exist so is there some other explanation to those engravings, or is it that they invented a language for them?

I know if such kind of jewelry really exist for us or if it was for the movie but they have a beautiful appearance and the written on it is very beautiful too. The letters of the elves are very beautiful. That's why the movie is so beautiful. It is a very beautiful history.

Huh, elves now?! Are there still people around here that believe in such things? Well they must still believe in Santa Clause also!
The font used on these jewelry pieces are really very beautiful and you need not believe in such myth to be able to appreciate them!
If you all look clearly at the ring and the pendant you will notice that they are quite simple, and its only the words engraved on them that make them look interesting.

I don't think they really believe in elves but the jewelries may have a relationship with their histories. The words look really strange. It might be an interesting subject. I will do some research about them. Maybe there are jewelries with beautiful words on it. I didn't noticed that it was used in Lords of the ring except the ring posted by zlug
