Here are some questions to get you thinking about whether the place you're going to get yourself pierced at is worthy and safe of piercing you:
  • Is the piercing studio clean and/or tidy?
  • Are the staff themselves clean or tidy?
  • Do they have an autoclave and can you inspect the spore test?
  • Do they only use disposable needles?
  • Is the piercing studio health registered?
  • Is the person piercing you a member of the professional piercers?
  • Does the piercing studio give you written after-care guidelines?
  • Are they competant?
  • Are the staff helpful and friendly?

If your answer is no to most or even some of these, then stay clear because you do not want to be messing with that!

Very true. I always get my piercings done ONLY in recognised places with the proper documentation. I always ask to see it.

Those are all very important questions to ask when considering a body piercing, especialy making sure that all needles used are disposable. You definitely wouldn't want to risk getting an infection, or worse, a serious disease. Most of the piercing establishments in my area are very reputable.

well the first and foremost question should be
1) is it really meant for me
2)does it match my style statement and my social strata
