Hey guys am back with another problem…am I already annoying you guys?! Yeah? Good then let’s beggin with this prob of mine: Errr can we go swimming to the sea just after having a piercing? Just had my tragus piercing, and it went so fine and it’s so cool to finally have my tenth, am going to cancun next week, gonna rock it there before winter comes!!!! Everyone say that it’s the best piercing I have had! The best until now! Well dunno if I’ll get more soon or some other day(where would I have it???), but anyway, I need to pack up fast and get ready for the best of the best of the fun!!!!! Drunk babes all the waaaayyyy!!! Yeeppeeeyay! please tell me if you know anything that could go wrong with this GREAT piercing I got myself!!!!

Found this on the net. Doesn't say anything about swimming. Probably okay if you clean it and dry it right away. A pierced tragus can take anywhere from two months to one year to fully heal. Like any other external piercing, it should be cleaned several times daily with warm salt water or a pre-mixed saline solution (like contact lens cleaner), and antibacterial or antimicrobial soap. Harsh sterilizers like hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol should be avoided as they promote scarring. Many piercers instead recommend applying tea tree oil to the site with a cotton swab; doing so can also help treat and prevent keloids forming. Tea tree oil can cause allergic reactions; if this occurs use should be stopped.

I have never heard that swimming with an ear pierced was a problem, very interesting to hear this. Most girls have th ear pierced, they should all stop swimming?  That is what you are tryong to say or i got everything wrong?

It would be very dangerous for you to go to the beach with a fresly pierced ear! You could have quite a bad infection with the sea water. Sea water is very very dirty! I think that, like most of us, you have peed in the sea water or swimming pool at least once in your life! Now think of all those germs that are int he water and they would get into that open wound(piercing) of yours!
