I am too old for body piercings?

I will be 40 this year and I really like body piercings. When I was young, no one did them or I would have gotten them. And as I got older I couldn't afford, or didn't want to pay that much to have it done. Now that it is mainstream almost, it has gotten cheaper to have done. I don't look 40 and I don't feel like it either. It's not like I am going to get 30 piercings or anything. I have my tongue done, my eyebrow, my belly button, which no one sees. I had one in my ear, but my baby girl kept pulling at it and it got sore.

There is no too old. Do what you want to do. If you've wanted a piercing this long, then now's the time to do it. Yes, keep it away from baby hands. Have fun!

I agree with MissCrissy you are never too old. If you want to do it, do it. What kind of piercings are you thinking about getting? I say go for it. You only live once and do what you want.

Yeah, go for it. You only live once. Now I wouldn't go overboard and get your body covered in them. But a few wouldn't hurt. I see people older than you with piercings all the time. Just means they are cool older people! lol

Don't let age stop you from doing anything that you want to do. If you say "I'm too old," then you will quickly become too old to do anything. Live it up!
