There are many body jewelry made of steel. they are beautiful, encrusted with gorgeous shiny stones and even diamonds like this one

but there are also the simpler steel body jewelry, even if they don't look as appealing as the encrusted ones

and the Steel Body Spiral

and despite the fact that i don't have a piercing myself, i enjoy browsing through the different steel body jewelry that are available on the market.
is there anybody on the forum who's got steel jewelry for his or her piercing?
and if yes, does the steel have to be of a specific type before getting the piercing?
i often read about the Steel surgical body piercing jewelry, does this mean something in particular?

hi Tears of Steel
i really don't know much about body jewelry, not my stuff exactly. but these pieces that you have posted are pretty interesting. specially the first and the last one.

so the first one has got a diamond stone encrusted in it? is it genuine just kidding. i mean, do they put emphasis on the diamond carat etc when it comes to body jewelry? i guess they do, people are paying for these after all.

i think diamonds are diamonds no matter in what jewelry they are encrusted and if a person is buying diamonds for his or her piercing jewelry, it must surely mean that the person wants a diamond with some good value.
would the surgical part mean that the steel jewelry will not cause allergies?

yeah! i think it's specified surgical steel piercing jewelry because it has something, if not all, to do with allergies. so if you're like allergic to some metals or something, go for surgical steel because it's the best when it comes to piercing jewelry?

As long as the metal don't make any infection to the body then it's fine. Sincerely I don't know which one of these metals are best for piercing because I don't have any of them, but I do love them
The first one posted by Tears of Steel is a nice one with a shiny stone in it.. I don't know that much about them and now you're talking about Steel surgical body piercing jewelry.. LoL.. Maybe it's some kind of way to protect you against diseases

This is a nice thread. I want to have a piercing also but it should make a good match with tattoos..I'm afraid because I don't want to have some diseases due to these things.. The one posted here seem to be nice and honestly they are beautiful
It's a good question adorna, is steel the best metal for piercing? Can anyone answer this question please?
