hi people!
i wanted to know something, and i don't think i can find a better place to ask. so here goes

i found this ring on the net while looking for some interesting diamond rings. this one is a Fancy Yellow Diamond Ring. the retail price is $10,000 and the website i found it at is selling the ring for only $5000. how come they can reduce the price by $5000?
and let's say that there's a rational explanation about that, but now can somebody please explain to me, why is this called Fancy Diamonds? does this mean that it isn't really genuine? like simulated diamonds or something?
i would like to know about these fancy diamonds because i intend to buy one like these, i think it would be cool to have a diamond ring which isn't plain white. but does fancy mean fake? or is it just fancy because of the color?

thank you people

The colour is not beautiful and for $5000 I think you can buy something that is better than that. The fact that the price decrease by half is quite suspect... If you are not sure if it is genuine or not do not take the risk to buy a ring for that price and which not satisfying you. Continue to look for other rings...

It's an awful ring The color ain't beautiful and I don't understand why they would reduce the price so far. $10,000 to $5000! Is this ring a genuine one? I don't really think so

But then, why would they sell it for $10,000? It must surely have some genuine part but don't really know how. That's the weird part. Jess is right, you can get much better with $5,000.

Poor Adorna, of course there must be some kind of explanation about it. Anyway forget about this because $5000 is a big amount of money and you don't want to have a fake ring. You can get much better, that's true. Are you fond of colored diamonds or you want this ring just because you like the cut of this diamond?
I'll show you one ring, a diamond one which worth $425. It's made from genuine diamonds. Just imagine how many rings like this you can get with $5000

See ya

Perhaps it is the name of the ring. Just like the claddagh ring, diamond solitaire ring.. So this one got a name too. See what I mean? But well, from $10,000 to $5,000 is just weird. Why will they do that? Perhaps they have to finish this stock at all costs, that's why they reduced it by $5000
