I have found that it is much cheaper usually to shop on ebay than on yahoo auctions. Has anyone else found this to be true as well? And does anyone know of any other good auction sites? I like to find good lots of jewelry that I can sell.

I've noticed this too. I wonder why people charge more on yahoo. I know there are alot more things listed on ebay than yahoo, so maybe it's they just have to charge less on ebay because there's more competition there.

That's the main thing: people on yahoo are afraid there will be few bids if they start the listings low.

Overstock.com has some good auctions too.

Hmm didn't know about overstock. You have to pay extra tax like with ebay at yahoo?

Yes, and unfortunately you NEED a credit card. But they do have some very nice prices!

I like Ebay because you don;t have to commit to a big order. Most of those shipping discounts come with mega orders or huge shipping weights.

If i make a mistake or don't really like the color or quality in person, if I shop on ebay I'm out 1-5 bucks. No biggy.

Plus you can build a customer rating that helps you sell your own stuff.

I have seen people do it both ways. They have a business and they do some online, or they just make stuff and sell it piece by piece.

You have to be pretty serious either way otherwise you can lose control of what you've got out there.

That is very easy to do, however ebay does give you a list, and it is very hard to make mistakes with it :D
