Anyone here know of a place to get a good price on colored diamonds? I don't like plain diamonds, but black, blue and purple diamonds are really cool, and not many people wear them, especially black. Yes, I like to be different.

Black diamonds. What is that about? Purple diamonds? Are these the overall color of the stones or just the brilliant highlights in the prizmatic reflection?

Colored diamonds. How do you know they are not just precious stones? I am intrigued. Can you show us some images? Are these accessible or in a rarefied price range in the quadruple digits?

I think there are samples of colored diamonds in some jewelry stores. I'm just not sure about the price.

Diamonds come in every color of the rainbow, but for most the color is enhanced. If you buy a diamond that has had the color enchanced it will cost you less than finding a diamond that has not been altered. Blues and Greens are almost always irradiated to change the color. I am not positive, but I think the process of irradiating makes the color more intense. Just be aware of this when you are shopping for colored diamonds. I don't know about cheap, because they are more expensive per ct than a typical white diamond the exception being black. Black is pretty cheap anyway. I used to buy a lot of diamonds from Antwerp, you may be able to buy them online.

Again, in the free diamond thread in this site. There is a website I was unaware of, they sell all colors of diamonds. The have black at about $50.00 a ct, very affordable. That website she posted has a little bit of everything at super cheap prices!

I don't know what you all think about it but I prefer white diamond. The colored ones won't really suit most of our outfit..
The white diamonds are forever.. Black diamonds are nice too
