Have you ever gotten a fantastic deal on a piece of jewelry? Share your story here - or brag about the great deal.

I once purchased a ring from a flea market dealer who did not know anything about jewelry. She thought the ring was fake through and through but it ended up being a real diamond. I paid $10.00 and it appraised at a couple of hundred! A great deal!

Default Jewellery shop
Hi,

When i was abroad for holidays, I visited a jewellery shop. I find a beautiful necklance with a gorgoeus pendant......but that was not for sales it was just for display........but as i really like it so the sales person was very generous with me, and i got it a 25% discount.

That was great...!!

Well I have lots of stories to tell, but one is about the snake shaped choker my wife wanted, she had ordered it on the net, it was on clearance sale, and it was supposed to be made of silver and only two diamonds for eyes.
We were delivered...three months after our order! And along with it came another snake jewel, a ring, they sent us their apologies and told us that they had sold the same choker to two persons and that is why they took so much time to get it to us!
She gave the snake ring to our daughter, Rachel, I haven't seen her wear it lately, I have no idea what she did with it.

Oh it's cool, I would like that this happen to me too. It's great luck that you had maybe it's your 'rush' actually and you should buy lottery (funny superstitions of my grand-ma). Maybe once in meanwhile it will happen to me. But I'm such a curse that never have luck. I know I'm a little bit pessimistic but life is life...

well well well you guys out here have got a good purchase, but i think that this is cheating!! i mean it's good to cheat cheaters themselves at times but once done it should not be repeated. i dont really like gargaining but when i see how my parents bargain each time they see that the price is too much, then i realise the profit they've made and how it's been a good affair. well i'm still trying to adapt myself to the bargaining thing and hope i'll succeed.

4 years ago I started buying Tanzanite at silly low prices, last year I put 2 of them in semi mounts. Now I have rings that would be priced out at over a Thousand dollars each. Good gemy color Tanzanite is very hard to find. Even the washed out Tanzy is expensive now.
