You’re right the ring is just a symbol and if ever it gets lost I don’t think that it will be the end of the world! However Abyss of Darkness you’ve never asked yourself why a ring instead of something else? In fact it’s not just the ring but also the idea behind it that is intriguing!!! |

In fact we all want the best ring or simply the best things for the one that you are supposed to love for the rest of your life… so we all look for the most beautiful ring without knowing why we do it… and I’m just looking for the reason and the origin of it…

Ok Mercutio! Let me tell you about something I saw on the net; It is said that the ancient pagan Romans were probably responsible for beginning the use of engagement and wedding rings. Originally the ring was placed on the fourth finger of the left hand because of a superstitious belief that a vein from this finger runs directly to the heart. Although this superstitious idea is no longer believed by most people, wedding rings are still placed on the fourth finger of the left hand by the majority of wearers.

Yes nice superstition! Hey guys read this: The roundness of the ring is said to represent eternity and to symbolize endless love and that the couple is forever united in the marriage bond. This is an un-Scriptural symbolism, for the Bible declares that marriage is only for as long as both of the marriage partners live physically (Romans 7:1-3).

According to the Bible, 2 persons must stay married even though they don’t love each other anymore!!! I don’t want to be the “devil” but I think that it’s not a good thing!!!
