History
Circle is a symbol which represents unity, peace, love, perfections and especially endlessness due to its no beginning and no end. Engagement diamond ring was introduced not until 1477.

According to the Egyptians, placing the ring on the third finger of the left hand, the vein of love known to them as vena Amors runs directly from the heart to the tip of the third finger whereas the Greeks believe diamonds reflect the constant flame of love.

Engagement is such a period that remains memorable through a person’s life, there is so much joy, love, hopes all together combine to form a wonderful experience. When one thinks of getting engaged, the first thing that runs into the mind is the engagement ring. So choosing the right engagement ring are some of the priorities that couple will make when beginning a lifetime together.

For Wedding Rings, not Engagement? Or Both?

I thought wedding rings were for the symbol of eternity. However, I suppose...forever really should start with engagement. Engagement is definately suppose to be the time when two people plan for their lives together, not the time where they decide they want to be together.

I wish that I would have either stayed engaged, and followed through with the wedding, or never been engaged at all. A broken engagement feels almost as bad as what people feel when they get divorced. What is marriage when you are already involved anyway, but a piece of paper?

I appreciate this, and I hope that the next time I get engaged it will be "for real".

isn't an engagement ring given only by one of the partners and not talked about between them??
