Didn't really know where to put this question (Admin: do we need a general forum under GENERAL?) :confused:

Are there jewelry collectors and jewelry wearers? In other words are there people who collect jewelry and showcase it as opposed to those who have theirs in a bottom draw for wearing on that "special occassion"?

Any views on this?

IMO you can break the market down by volume like this:

Users 80%
Resellers 15%
Collectors 5%

Users may fall into further categories like the breakdown of our forums.

Don't forget people like me, who love to look at jewlry, but can never really get all the assets together in one place to actually buy them. I agree with the general thing though.

You have to start small, perhaps even making your own, and build up over time. It can be fun too, IMHO.

I have a jewelry collection. I wear some of it but some I am scared to wear for fear of losing it. I am trying to get over this but it is hard! LOL!

Hmm, i don't think that works, why not just sell the jewlry for over a dime and be richer :P
