hi Goldeneye! well, i'd advise you to ask your girlfriend what kind of an engagement ring she wants. it's really nice to come up with a ring all by yourself but what if she doesn't like it? so, i'd suggest you take her along when you're going to buy the engagement ring, that way she can choose as well because after all, she'll be the one wearing it!

ok i understand. then try tricking her into telling you what kind of a ring she likes. start a conversation, saying that you've a friend who's actually shopping for an engagement ring for his girlfriend. tell her that's he's considered buying a diamond ring or maybe a silver one... naturally list out the different rings you've considered and ask her what she thinks about them

Hey i would advise you to let ur girlfriend choose her ring cause she would be the one wearing it, if i were in ur girlfriend place, i wuold never let somebody else choose my ring!!!! or if someone did it i would probably never wear it.....

well, if you're getting engaged, this means that surely you know her likes and dislikes... maybe you could follow your intuition and get her a ring which you feel she'll like. but a better advice would be to take her along when you're buying the ring!

hits the jewellery shops.... go check out counters, catalogues n go on the net n browse the online catalogues...there are so many superb websites where u can find beautiful rings varying from tastes to types n u can even order online or simply choose the model n show it to yr jeweller-ask if he can do it 4ya.
