I haven't understood the thread well... Is it that you intend to have something laser carved on your diamond just to make sure that when you get it back, from those that are going to clean, it'll be the same one?! I don't know about diamond carving but I think that it may get ruined or brittle!

Why do want to put some bar codes on them? They won't affect your diamond? I don't advise you to use such things. You can try to clean you own jewelry yourself. What do you think? You will save money and you will also save your diamond jewelry

To answer your questions, i was thinking about getting it lasered into the inside of my diamond just something small like 22343 so i know its mine when i got to pick it up from the jewelers for whatever reason!
