Why do some people prefer to buy Moissanite than any other stone?

The first details we notice about that gemstone is its extreme beauty (including colour, brilliance, fire 'dispersion of a jewel in its cutting style' and luster). We can find them in nearly all accurate shapes,it means, oval, trillion, marquise, pear shape, heart shape, triangle, princess cut squares, radiant cut octagon, and antique squares. Then, the durability contrtibutes a lot to its ascending fame ( determined by the hardness, resistance to scratching, toughness or resistance to chipping and cleaving.) The last thing about the stone is that it is simply rare!

Here is a small illustration of a test made to catch the difference in brilliance and fire between moissanite and diamond:

A 1 carat moissanite jewel has been placed side by side with a 1 carat diamond in water with a light of high density shining on them. We automatically see the superior brilliance of moissanite displayed by the ring of specks extending beyond that of the diamond. The superior fire of moissanite here, is displayed by the intense colour spectrum of the moissanite light specks when compared to the diamond light specks.

Abstract, thanks a lot for this info, i've a huge crush on Moissanite stones and have a whole collection of them! specially Moissanite Pendants

the intensity of the fire of Moissanite is one of the main reasons why i prefer going for Moissanite rather than diamonds.

Moissanites are MY best friends

do you have any Moissanite pieces Abstract?

I think that even after all this information is known people will still find in diamond the best for proecious jewels! Diamond is like the one gem that evreyone knows and wishes to own!

this is not extremely accurate. you are considering only one point of view because this is the only one you have. and i guess it's not your fault.
why do you say something like this? if diamonds were all people wished to own and bought then no one would be interested in Moissanite, you don't even know the reach or extent of Moissanite jewelry, and yet here you are. saying something like this.
if what you say is right and that even after reading this information people still go running wildly after diamonds, this surely means that they didn't understand a word of what Abstract explained.
that's really sad.

I just saw this picture on another post and it was very useful too. These are nice jewelries, there is only one work to classify the cut of ring asbtract, it's PERFECT !
I thought people don't like moissanite jewelries at all but now I'm convinced that I was wrong all the way..
