my boyfriend proposed we are getting engaged (officially with the reception and guests and all) in 2 months but the date is not confirmed yet but Andy (yes that's him, the love of my life ) said that i could start shopping for my ring in the mean time. the thing is, i'm a very fussy one and he prefers i choose a ring myself than him choosing something that i might not like.

i've seen 2 rings which i really like (but it's not final yet! i'm still selecting!!!) but i don't know which one is better so could you guys please help me out?!!!! both rings are Moissanites

this is RING 1

and this is RING 2

could you please advise which of RING 1 and RING 2 look better????
thanks people!!!!!

congratulations My Precious!!! that's great!!! i hope you get engaged when you're expecting to and that all goes fine. that's quite a thoughtful and considerate guy you got yourself there yeah?

as for the rings, i don't know if i should be answering because i'll be giving a guy's opinion and maybe what you need is a lady's opinion!!!!!

but anyway here goes...

ring 1, which if i'm not mistaken is a three stone Moissanite ring, seems really nice. silver is it? the design seems good enough.

on the other hand ring 2 has a special touch and look to it, it is a mix of modernity and "antique" designs.

hmm...which of the two rings do you prefer My Precious???

let's Ola for the fiancee!!!!

i'd definitely go for ring 2!!!! it's lovely!!!!

but then maybe you should consider the traditions and customs of your family? i know women who will only go for silver for the engagement and keep the gold band for the wedding only. have you thought about that? or would any ring, silver or gold suit your needs?

your right Allegra, there's nothing more fun that Ola so once again

just for you My Precious!!

i would choose Ring 1. it's a very beautiful three stone Moissanite ring. and like Allegra pointed out, it is important to decide which metal you want as a ring.

i would choose silver for my engagement and move to a gold ring for my wedding. but then that's the family tradition at my place

these rings really have an incredible lustre yeah???

yes they do!!!!! typically, Moissanite is of a harder nature than CZ (Cubic Zirconia), that's one of the great similarities that Moissanite shares with diamonds. it is also lighter and has a greater resistance to heat.

these are the factors that lead to Moissanite having such a high lustre!!!!

oooh i just love the Moissanite!!!!

I would prefer the second ring coz I find the heart cut of the ring very romantic and perfect for the special occasion. The shape of the ring is in a heart shaped which I find very rare along with the 3 stone beautiful place of the decorated sided of the ring.

congratulations My Precious!!!!!

definitely the second ring. the carvings are exquisite and a three stone Moissanite ring should not be refused specially in such intricacy. also, it has a touch of royalty jewelry to it, you might have noticed, in the olden days the rings were in those model.

you are one of the rare ladies i have come across who is choosing Moissanite rings over diamond ones...... how come? don't you want to go for the "real" thing as so many of the women out here say?

i admit that i didn't think about that and well, it usually is silver as the engagement ring in my family. it wouldn't be right to go against the family tradition by choosing the gold ring?
