I think some good uses of genuine pearl jewelry include wearing to a wedding, or for the bride to wear on her wedding day. Pearl necklaces and earrings will accent a wedding dress very nicely I think, especially white or natural colored ones.

Junior bridesmaids and bridesmaids also look good wearing pearls depending upon what style of dress they are wearing. One unique style of a necklace I think could be an invisible choker made from a clear fishing line type material with a pearl added to it. This would show on the neck, and appear as those it was a piercing. This is done in a tactful way, and is considered more elegant than a piercing.

Yeah i also think so that pearl jewelry would look good on wedding dresses. Pearls look so pure-like, if tyou understand what i mean, and they really would be good for the wedding day!
anyway pearl necklaces, hair pins and broochs will also look good on black evening gowns!

the best would be to have the bride in white and wearing a pearl set with her bridesmaids in pink and they also with a set of pearl jewelry! this would be the most beautiful looking wedding, and just imagine the pictures!!!

It's a perfect match. They all looks beautiful. . even the girl in curt's picture looks great. I think the best match for a pearl necklaces is only when a girl wear it for her marriage

i don't agree that pearl is only for weddings! i always say that pale or bright color jewellery do not look good on pale colored clothes!!! the jewellery's beauty is hidden!!! i have seen in some movies where some beautiful ladies wore pearl jewellery on black dresses that looked really fine on them!

Pearls are not only for wedding! You can also wear pearls if you're going to the opera with your boyfriend, or if you're going to a beautiful restaurants.. You told you that pearls are meant only for wedding? I don't really think so. You can see women wearing pearls in movies.
They don't wear them in only in wedding

I do not agree that there are some jewellery that are best for this occasion and others not! Well all I can say is that pearl jewellery are really classy looking and will surely not look good on rags(that is the only thing where it will certainly not suit)!
I agree with what fishtail has suggested and the color of the bride's and bridemaid's dresses are most of the time white and white pearls will look really good with the dress.
I think that pink dresses also would look well with white pearl jewellery.

You're right zasalamel. Most people think that white pearls should fit only white clothes. I don't really agree with that too. There are many outfits that will look well with white pearls.
You should at least know where or how to wear them!
