Personally, when I think of platinum jewelry I think of platinum rings right away. When it comes to platinum, do most people wear only the platinum rings? Or many wear platinum necklaces, bracelets and earrings too?

I don't know much about platinum jewelry, but i had once seen one and the metal is such a beauty!!! It really shines and i just loved it!...but too bad it wasn't mine! I think platinum is being used for all types of jewelry not only rings! I have come across these beauties, have a look and tell me what you think of them:   they are around 300$ and 400$! ain't they awesome?!

I have never heard of platinum earrings and i really think that there are not that exists! The locket pendant above is really nice and the one with two hearts is nice too but how large is it? If there is one thing that I really do not appreciate in jewelry is the large pendants!!

Yes platinum is most well known to be worn as rings just like white gold. The reason is that the metal is too shiny and white-like, people do not wear them as earring or for piercing as they are too shiny and the difference between the skin color and the jewel is too high.

this necklace from gazabomb is really cool!!! I really like it, it reminds me of the heart broken pendants i once had, i threw it away when she left me, she had the other piece of the heart! i dont know the reason behind why there are not much jewelry made of platinum but it really is a shiny metal, even much more than silver!

Platinum rings are more popular than other items that are made from it but there are other jewelry that are made out of it, like you can see in this very thread itself. The thing with plat is that it is quite shiny, like sterlin silver, that is why they are best for rings with beautiful gems encrusted, the color contrast between a red gem and the stone would be wonderful!
