Maybe I'm just biased because it's my birthstone, but I think the blue sapphire is the prettiest of all the gemstones. It's such a beautiful shade of blue. I just love it. So much, in fact, that when my husband proposed he gave me a sapphire ring instead of the traditional diamond. He did me a diamond later, but my sapphire is more special.

I'm a green fan so I like some emeralds the best. But I think in general that sapphires are very beautiful.

i think that emeralds are greater than sapphires...but nothing compares to pink diamonds :)

I've heard many people say that depending on the day, time and hours of birth, each one of us and its own lucky gemstone. I don't even know what is my lucky gemstone. I got to find this out.

for what month is the blue sapphire the birthstone, is it August??
i have no idea, am a Leo and i never found out about my birthstone, i never cared anyway cause this was only invented so that more people would like to possess these stones cause of their birth date!!!
..but if it my birthstone or not i still love blue sapphire, pale blue ones mostly!
