Inside my wedding band and my husband's wedding band is a quote from a song that is very special to us both. A song that describes the love we feel for each other. It was the song I walked down the aisle to, it was the song played for our first dance, and inside our bands it says "I've got all I'll ever need, thanks to the keeper of the stars". :)

Our wedding bands are engraved. My dh has my initials engraved in his band and I have his initials engraved in my band. Really simple but it means a lot to both of us.

Our wedding bands are exactly the same and have our wedding date engraved in each of them. Not that I would ever forget but to help dh out so he doesn't forget is always a bonus hehe just kidding. It was just something we did. It was our special day.

Our wedding bands aren't engraved, but sometimes I wish that we had gotten it done. We were a bit tight on money at the time, and we just have the simple gold bands. We will be married five years this July, so maybe then would be a good time to have something engraved on our rings. I like the idea of the quote from a special song!

Yeah, it does. A friend of mine had their wedding bands engraved. Her ring has one small diamond embedded on it, so the date was messed up. What was supposed to be 2003, now looked like 200o3. :)

They should have asked first if the date would fit. The one who engraved it should have told them also that it wouldn't look nice.
