You don't have to have a tattoo to prove your love. Fidelity is more important.

So true! Fidelty is more important that any symbol of marriage.

Over the ages there have been many different trends in rings. I've read that the Puritans believed rings to be decadent so they opted for practical thimbles instead. I think tattooed wedding bands are trendy and popular on a small scale. I don't see them replacing traditional jewelry.

I don't think I would like to have a tattoo so I would just stick to the wedding band.

What do you mean sudhanuj?! Is it that you prefer having the name of your beloved as a tattoo on yourself rather than having a ring?!
Well it would be quite an awful thing for us people that are getting divorced so easily nowadays, you know sudhanuj, its not that easy to get rid of a tattoo that we no more like...much more difficult than having to get rid of a person we no more like!

What do you mean by tattooed wedding band? Never heard about that before!
Is it just like 5 star said? Having the name of our beloved rather than a ring? Well, I don't know what to say about that. It's the first time I hear about that
Did someone try this? What about you sudhanuj?
What if you don't love that person anymore? Did you think about it? Well personally it is not a good idea

I don't think that tattooes are really symbolic for a wedding, a ring would have been much better!
Tattooes are mostly appreciated by young adults, I can't imagine people around 40 going to get their lover's name tattoed to theit skin?!
And there's also the question of breaking up!

I think that sudhanuj has great faith in the words ..."Bound together till death takes them apart"!
this would mean that she wants to have her man with her forever and also his name forever on her!

Is this actually done by 'normal' people?! I thought that only stars did that! I never heard anyone around here do such a stupid thing!
Just take my story, we were happy, we were already living together, we had so many plans for our future, then we got married and then...well then one day everything had changed!
What would I have done if I had tattoed his name on me? Wouldn't I look like an idiot now that he is getting married again?!

..i have read someone, i think that it was claudia, that said that it was like marking cattle...well she seems right to me, you may all be against it..but i think that it would be quite a big mistake to do such a thing...specially in this world where people get married and divorced so easily..well it can be hard to get on another relationship if you have the name of your ex on your body..some people dont even accept their partners friendship with their exs...
