What could be more devoted and permanent than tattooed wedding bands? From simple, to tribal or celtic, or even each other's names in any language. Then, at the time of the wedding, exchange a simple gold or silver band for tradition or symbolism. No need for something material or costly if you have your real ring with you all the time. |

I have a question, what happens if they get divorced? I got married once and that is all I am doing but unfortunately the divorce rate is extremely high. Would it be worth getting it removed? I heard that having a tatoo removed is really painful. I think the concept is cool but I like the classic wedding band idea much better. |

Sounds tacky to me. And not at all traditional. I prefer the gemstones and gold that are traditional in our society now. But to each his own. A tattoo is certainly a lot more permanent. I wonder if how many of the tattooed "rings" outlast the marriage. Probably a lot. |
