i don't see what's so unique about this. after all, choosing our diamond and metal etc, these are things offered to us by even our local jeweler right?  and anyway, when it comes to choosing essential things like this, i really prefer going down to the jeweler's myself and selecting my stones and all, rather than over the net. but hey, there are exceptional situations when even i buy online... just can't resist some of the pieces out there

You got it right pirate, it can possibly be a bad surprise and what should we do then? Just sit and bit our nails like mad people Noooo.. I like to shop around and have a look at the various rings and also observe their prices

Me too I can't resist because there are some nice jewelry that we don't even find in our local jewelry shop. Just too bad, isn't it? What I think is the best way, is to have someone who already tried one, then ask him if we can trust it, what about their prices and so on
