The facets of a diamond act like tiny "light reflecting mirrors" When a diamond is "CUT" well, the light will bounce around inside the diamond and be reflected back up through the top of the diamond where you will see it in the form of "Sparkle" Cut is very important to a good looking diamond. You don't have to be a professional to see a diamond that has a good cut. If the diamond appears very dull and does not have that "FIRE" or "Sparkle" (or very little of it) when you flash it around under a light source, then you probably have a poorly "CUT" diamond. It's not really that hard. Don't be discouraged by the perceived complexity of it. If you are going to buy a diamond ring, even just a little education can go a long way!! Always do your homework when you are purchasing a diamond, it will help you save money and also get you a better looking diamond for your money. You could be talking about thousands of dollars!!

Now I can understand something about the 4c's. So this mean it's the main factor jeweler have to be aware of? because if a diamond don't shine it will look weird and I don't want that. I don't know where you got all these information, but it looks like you have some useful tips about diamonds
